Over the past decade, there has been a growing concern about the vulnerability of institutions of higher education (IHEs) to bankruptcy and closure. This case provides a simulation that allows for a stress test for a college.  The model looks at enrollment trends, price per credit, fixed costs, variable costs, and the endowment.
 
This case includes three files: the case, teaching notes, and an EXCEL file with the simulation model that can be used to test an institution's vulnerability.
